About PlaySafe
About Us
PlaySafe is an online hub that provides tools and training to help individuals foster positive and safe experiences in sport and recreation.
It was developed by viaSport BC for participants at all levels of sport, recreation, and physical activity, with support from the Province of BC.
There’s a better way to play.
PlaySafe was created to educate people about safe participation, and how it can help change the culture of sport and recreation for the better. Playsafe is here to offer resources that help bridge gaps in knowledge and overcome obstacles to safe participation,so that everyone can play a part in fostering a welcoming, inclusive and fun environment.
The content is inspired by the understanding and definition of safe participation that was developed by I⋅SPARC.
