Pink Shirt Day – Let kindness grow where people play

Pink Shirt Day in 2025 is about cultivating a community of kindness – empowering everyone to plant the seeds of kindness with small gestures that nurture a sense of belonging. By doing this, we can work towards a world without bullying.

PlaySafe encourages you to think about what small gestures you can do to “let kindness grow” in sport, recreation, and physical activity:

🤝 Invite someone new to come play your game or try your sport

✨ Be supportive of a teammate who had a bad day

🚀 Tell someone on your team what you think they’re great at

Learn what you can do to stop bullying

We all have a responsibility to create a safe environment, but we often don’t know what to do when faced with a situation that may compromise our own safety.
